I've always wanted a piano... For as long as I can remember... And we'll finally have space in the new house for a piano... Despite the fact that they are beautiful, I really hope that the girls will learn to play someday... I think I'm slowly wearing Jay down... And how about painted pianos?

ReplyDeletewow! those are fantastic. i grew up with a baby grand in the house (my mom learned to play on it when she was little and so did i). however, i have to say that i really love the wall pianos. they are a lot less formal and can be painted to look so lovely!

My first piano was painted white. It was a beautiful old hand-crafted in Germany Heintzman, completely with decorative cut-outs and red felt. It had been poorly painted and it very much clashed with my mother's living room. My grandparents bought me a new, high-gloss piano a few years later. I've never forgotten that old piano and often wonder if some other little girl is cherishing it as much as I did.
