Inspired by a {Yellow Button Studio} Giveaway

2.28.2012

About two weeks ago, I happened upon 'Yellow Button Studio' while browsing around Etsy... I've been looking for a print to hang in the girl's bathroom since we moved last May... And I was thrilled when I found THIS print in Jessie's shop... You see, not only will it look great with the pale blue & white of the bathroom, it's something we often say to the girls... And it's true... I do love them all, to the moon and back! I was excited to order it and in my communications with Jessie, she wondered about sponsoring a giveaway! How could I say no? I love the sentiments and the hand crafted look of Jessie's prints... And thus, a giveaway was born!
To enter the giveaway: Visit 'Yellow Button Studio' and come back here... Leave the name of your favourite print along with your email address for chance to win an 8x10 or 8.5x11 print of your choice from 'Yellow Button Studio'... Spread the word on Facebook, Pinterest or Twitter, and post the link in the comments... One winner will be randomly chosen on Friday evening... I'll be contacting the winner by email, so please be sure to leave a valid email address! Thanks to Jessie and have fun browsing her beautiful shop!

A Room to Share...

11.28.2011

Thankfully, our little ones all have their own rooms... But with spaces like these, sharing doesn't look so bad!

"Lalé Suitcases"

11.17.2011

Back in September, my mom was wondering what to get the girls for Christmas... She wanted to get them suitcases... The night before she'd visited, I'd seen these Lalé suitcases online... I showed them to her and she was just as pleased as I was... I love the vintage inspired fabrics... And think the girls will be hang on to them years beyond needing grown-up luggage... We were even more excited to find them stocked at shop from Montreal (no duty, yeah!), "Mini Bulles"!

"Giddy Giddy"

11.16.2011

One night while on the web, I came across these perfect little pouches from 'Giddy Giddy'... Brennah has been asking each Sunday if she can bring a purse to church, but we really don't have anything that works... And of course, Leah being the little sister, she wants to do whatever her big sister does... I was smitten with octopus and Jay loved the pink bird... So we ordered them... They arrived quickly, in lovely packaging and I was more than thrilled! Why not head over to 'Giddy Giddy' and see if there is something that tickles your fancy... And then when you're done, head over to their blog, full of amazing ideas for kids!

Sleeping Bags...

11.15.2011

It took a long time to decide what to get my girls for Christmas this year... And as with most years, I began planning back in August... I like Christmas... And I love trying to pick out the perfect gifts for the people I love... While watching 'Treehouse' one day, a character on one of Bren's favourite shows went camping... She promptly declared, "I want a sleeping bag"... Most evenings I spend 15-20 minutes cleaning up the girls numerous toys in their playroom... So I was thrilled that she was looking for something a little more practical and a little less cumbersome to clean up... And thus began my search for the perfect sleeping bags... I thought they would be perfect for sleep overs, trips to the cottage and watching movies tucked inside on a cold winter night... These are the sleeping bags we settled on for the girls this Christmas... How pretty are they?

For the kids... iPhone Apps

11.02.2011

Over the last few weeks, we've been doing a lot of waiting around... Waiting for classes to start, waiting while running errands and waiting for appointments... I decided to put my phone to good use and began a search for some special things to for the girls to enjoy while playing the waiting game! These fantastic apps are now on my phone... And we have not been disappointed!
